Dwayne Bravo, Machel Montano Team Up. Pineapple Riddim Brings Heavyweights Together.

Carnival 2025 is about to get a whole lot sweeter – this as news has emerged that two powerhouses in Caribbean music have teamed up to unleash something spectacular. This Wednesday, the official release of The Pineapple Riddim will reveal the collaboration of Dwayne Bravo’s 47 Productions and Machel Montano’s Monk Music, in what can only be described as a coming together of heavy- hitters in both culture and lifestyle.

Patrice Roberts is one of the big names featured on the riddim.

This project is truly special because it represents the first-ever collaboration between 47 Productions and Monk Music. Machel is an icon, and to work alongside him and his team on this riddim is a dream come true,” said Bravo on the link. The move is described as an exciting fusion of talent and vision, with several major names in Soca, included in the riddim’s lineup. Patrice Roberts delivers Tun Up, Rupee – ‘My Kinda Gyal,’ Lyrikal – Carnival Meeting‘, Machel Montano unleashes Wah We Doin,’ and rising star out of 47 Production, 47Ronzy, brings a fresh twist with her single, ‘Come Here – a fusion of Afrobeats and groovy soca. The project is the first collaboration between Bravo’s 47 Productions and Machel’s Monk Music.


“The Pineapple Riddim represents everything we love about Carnival – vibes, energy, and a celebration of culture. It’s been an honour to collaborate with other Soca greats like Patrice, Lyrikal, and Rupee, while also giving 47 Ronzy a platform to showcase her unique talent,” said Bravo. He added, “This riddim brings something fresh yet deeply rooted in the essence of Trinidad Carnival, and I’m proud of what the team at 47 Productions has created. We can’t wait for everyone to experience it!”

Machel, one of the world’s most enthralling live performers said, I’m thrilled to collaborate with DJ Bravo because we both share the same passion for greatness and the Pineapple Riddim is a testament to that! Great songs on a catchy, bouncy beat with some of the greatest in the Soca Game.” The soca superstar went on to commend Bravo for his commitment to embracing young, upcoming talent, saying that the well known international cricketer gives young artistes the opportunity to shine among the stars. “This is the Monk Music philosophy as well and we see this as the beginning of a great partnership and vision for entertainment and beyond! “Wah We Doin” is definitely one of my favorites of my 2025 Carnival contributions,” said the entertainer.

The Pineapple riddim also features the expert touch of songwriter, Jason ‘Shaft’ Bishop.
