Queen Omega Reigns. Luciano Reminds T&T of Its Greatness at Redemption The Return.

“I was not prepared for this Trinidad and Tobago. I am feeling so emotional.” These were the first words that escaped the lips of reggae empress, Queen Omega who hails from twin island, Trinidad and Tobago, as she took the mic at Redemption the Return on Saturday night. The well loved and globally respected female reggae artist mounted the stage after being ushered to what he said was her rightful place, by none other than militant Jamaican reggae artist, Luciano.

Queen Omega was not a part of the Redemption cast, however, as she acknowledged the honor of being raised up by Luciano, the crowd’s response made it clear that she should never again be overlooked by local promoters. Queen Omega’s powerful vocals penetrated the nighttime atmosphere as she belted out her hit single, ‘No Love’, pointing fingers at global leaders with her sharp words, ‘the leaders dem got no love in dem heart.’

In the general admission area of the event, hands raised to the sky and shrieks of approval could be heard, this as the artist commonly referred to as Jah Messenger looked on. A single flip was the most effective show of approval by Luciano, leading to the songstress’ powerful response, “Rastafari!!!”
