A snapshot of the Facebook Live feed on Tuesday night.

Benjai seems to be a fan of Facebook LIVE. The sometimes controversial soca star was spotted on the ‘Affairs of the Heart’ Facebook LIVE feed posted last night by radio personality and host of the show, Devon Matthews. Guests on the show on Tuesday evening were hit creator, Kernal Roberts and some of his team mates from Rama Studios. Now, despite the in-studio effort to keep things in tact, Benjai was definitely the source of much entertainment for us, and we’re sure, others, on the social side of things.

With a new release delivered to soca fans this past Monday, ‘Jai seems ready for the upcoming season in T&T. He’s even getting in the mix, it would seem. Chiming in on the topics and issues posed by Matthews, as fielded from fans of the show, ‘Jai gave his opinion on it all, relaying many comments on the feed last night. At one point, in commenting on a particular subject, he said :

Before I go I see certain men girl up here in Nothing Hill carnival winein’ down the place with the outside man and hailing me and telling me what happen in England stay in England so women are very deceitful too, not men only. It’s a balance to palance.

In December 2015, Benjai had been baptized in the Ethiopian Orthodox religion. He has since been relatively quiet with many wondering what his next move would be. On Monday, he released ‘Whole Night’ a song produced by Jesse John of Optimus ProductionsTT LTD. The single is seated on the Island Lime riddim, which also features, Dev of Dev’s Barber Shop. His song is called, ‘This Gyul”.

We have a good feeling that this won’t be the last we hear of ‘Jai in the weeks and months ahead. STAY TUNED.
