Despite all visible efforts to move on with her life in the present, following the sudden death of her mother in June, dancehall beauty Shenseea continues to express sadness over the loss.

The young mother of one is currently in the United States. She performed in Atlanta and Washington DC in the past week. Her work escapade to the States has allowed for some shopping in the company of her team. Shenseea gave fans a sneak peek into her shopping enjoyment, grabbing herself a new pair of Dior sneakers before her performance in DC. Sharing herself openly via Instagram stories, she said she was almost forced to cancel the show due to a migraine headache she had been experiencing prior to the event. She thanked her fans for helping her sing and supporting her as they always do.

HERE’S A QUICK SNIPPET

After all was said and done however, Shenseea posted a message that proved that even with a smile on her face most times, she remains pained by the loss of her mom.

“I miss you mommy. I wish you time here on earth was longer. Miss you yo. Sometimes I still can’t believe I’ll never see you again,” she wrote.

Jamaican dancehall artist, Sean Paul’s ‘Live N Livin’ is one of two albums from him, set for release this year. The album, according to a media statement issued, was inspired by the perception of members of the music industry that dancehall is dead. Confronting the sentiment head on, Sean Paul says he believes dancehall is alive and well, and maintains a strong pulse.

Sean Paul set to release two albums in 2021.

The first album being released, showcases over twenty artistes and even having proven himself over the years as an International dancehall trendsetter, Sean Paul says he still aims to highlight the significance of the genre while collaborating with different talented artists. Over the years, Sean Paul has made music with the likes of Rihanna, Justin Bieber and Sam Smith, blending and fusing his sound with world rhythms.

Live and Livin’ is dubbed “a collaborative effort,” with 16 tracks all featuring an accompanying artist. On the single, ‘Lion Heart’, Sean Paul stands solo. “It was important to me to show that in our genre of dancehall, we don’t need to clash in order to attain the spotlight. We don’t need to divide our fans to attain the rotations on the airwaves or streams. Over the years me, Shaggy, and more recently Koffee, Shenseea and others have been making it onto the world stage and we are not clashing with our co-workers, nor are we dividing our fans. This album ‘Live N Livin’ is an album I hold very dear to my heart because it shows the effort of collaboration over confrontation,” he said.

The album features veteran artists like Buju Banton, Damian ‘Jr Gong’ Marley, Busy Signal, Mavado, and the younger generation of artists such as Chi Ching Ching, Intense, Skillibeng, and Govana and more.

‘Live N Livin’ is set to be released on March 12th and is executively produced by Sean Paul’s label Dutty Rock Productions and distributed by ONErpm.
