Positive and his wife are parents to a beautiful baby girl.

When God works in your life, it’s only fitting to share that testimony with everyone who’s got ears to hear. Positive- the Tobago born artiste who represents wholeheartedly for Trinidad and Tobago’s gospel culture, today said he’s been richly blessed, this as he celebrates 31 years of life. He simultaneously unleashed a brand new single that’ll form part of his upcoming album. That track is called, “Light Dem Up”.

Positive was live on the Red Hot Morning Show on Red 96.7FM in Trinidad on Tuesday morning. He said he’d asked God for a wife that would be honest, loyal and a good mother to his children. He received just that, he attested, referring to his wife, Analise. Together they have a beautiful daughter who they called, Emma-Mychelle.

Using his celebrity to draw focus to the plight being experienced by his fellow Tobagonians, the young entertainer said something needs to take place soon to help the people of Tobago, lamenting that some 20 employees of a hotel had recently been laid off as a direct result of the economic issues facing the island. An inconsistent ferry service has led to dwindling domestic and foreign tourism revenue in Tobago. “With Easter coming up, they now start to work on the airport runway. So now, they start working on the runway which is a total inconvenience. That is added to an already shambled system,” he said, on the matter of work being done at the ANR Robinson International Airport.

It’s a jungle out there and two of the wild cats creating a scene these days are none other than Hip Hop’s leading ladies, Cardi B and Nicki Minaj- both of whom have Trini blood running through their veins. The pair has been seemingly at it for a while but things escalated on the weekend when Cardi B attempted to run into Minaj’s security entourage at a New York Fashion Week event. Instead, she was on the receiving end of a bump to the face all courtesy Minaj’s bodyguards who just wasn’t having it. Of course, Cardi wouldn’t have been satisfied until she took off her shoe and threw it in the direction of the ‘Ganja Burns’ singer. Nicki was not hurt.

Amanda Seales is a Grenadian-American comedian.

Well, it certainly didn’t end there. The banter between these two equally successful rappers continues this week and many have been weighing in on the attempted face off. One of the comments that has however left us all chuckling here in the Caribbean is that of Grenadian-American comedian and actress Amanda Seales.

She, of course, gave her two cents on the topic, expressing a point of view that started with a disclaimer that she does not condone violence, before telling her online viewers that there’s really no right place for a fight to go down. Her final comment, however, gave the Trinidad and Tobago delights Roti and Doubles, some pretty good publicity. We’re cracking up over here!
