Best known for his 2009 Soca Star victory and the hit single ‘They Wanna be Like’, the artist formerly known as Chynee has made a re-entry onto Trinidad and Tobago’s music circuit.

Chynee’s new single pays homage to his hometown of Macoya Gardens, all this as he presents a new sobriquet- Macoy. The Trinbagonian artist is assuring that his quality will never be compromised, this as he is determined to deliver first class productions and performances.

Recently, Chynee released a single called, ‘North Coast Road’. It’s been described as a patriotic parody of the global hit ‘Old Town Road’, and features accomplished pannist Deron Ellies. Now, he’s preparing to deliver another track, something he calls, ‘ ‘Open D Border’- a song that will, according to the artist, showcase his smooth melodious capability and clever lyrical ability. Music lovers can also anticipate a single that comically touches on Trinidad and Tobago’s current immigration issue.

D Real Macoy as he’s now known will unleash the new single soon, he says. It was produced by Sharde Homer of Chainlinxxx Productions and boasts catchy hooks that work well with an authentic Soca flair.
