Cassie’s new single is already receiving good reviews.

Life is truly a journey. Caribbean soca artiste, Cassi understands this oh too well. He has delivered a new single to fans ahead of the Carnival 2017 season in Trinidad and Tobago, but even with great reviews already coming his way, the artiste who gave soca lovers songs like ‘Town T’ing’, ‘Whistle and Horn’ and ‘Man in Yuh House’ says he won’t be getting swell headed at all. In fact, this time around, Cassi’s delivering soca to the world, with no major expectations.

Having suffered a stroke and now recovered, Cassi is thankful for the blessing of life. His new single, ‘Break Record’ is a light-hearted, spirited and rhythmic track that’s easy on the ear and no doubt, the waistline. We anticipate the ladies will love this one as Carnival draws closer.

In a chat with EBUZZTT on Tuesday, Cassi said he’s all about enjoying his development as an artiste and isn’t putting too much focus on competing for popularity. He says he simply hopes to deliver music everyone will love.

Listen to the brand new single and let us know what you think.
