The entertainment fraternity in Trinidad and Tobago mourns yet another loss today, this as news emerged this morning that Kimberly Scott- a personality at popular radio station, 96.1WEFM has died.

Scott had battled with Diabetes all her life, we’ve learnt. Online, radio station boss, Tony Chow Lin On, best known as Chinese Laundry wrote, “Dear Kimberly, time will not erase the special bond that we created, the moments we shared, the work done, the things we built together , the happy “scandals” you created daily. I will forever be grateful for the privilege of having you in our lives, your bravery, strength and courage will continue to inspire. There is no end , fly with the angels , rest in eternal peace , we will always love you.”

Kim was best known for her midday work shift on the urban frequency, often entertaining with a subtle, down to earth effect that many enjoyed. Fellow radio personality, Whitney Husbands who works at competing frequency, Boomchampions 94.1FM, expressed sadness at the loss, saying Scott was ultimately the best female radio announcer, bar none.
