For over 10 years, the Trinidad and Tobago carnival calendar has seen the inclusion of one of the most well attended events of the season. Randy Glasgow’s name has become synonymous with Ladies Night Out- a carnival show that has catered primarily to women in the past. In 2016 however, the show’s dynamic changes slightly as organisers have announced their ‘Men Welcome’ edition.

LNO 2016 takes place at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port-of-Spain on January 23rd and already big names like Kees and his band, Bunji Garlin, his wife, Fay-AnnLyons, Destra and Bakanal, Ricardo Drue, Nadia Batson and SASS and even Jamaican reggae crooner, Jah Cure, have been thrown out. The event will also see an appearance by the Carib Shiv Shakti Dancers- a well known chutney dance group in the Caribbean.

The artistes highlighted ahead of the show have already proven worthy. Kees has one of the more popular songs being heard on the airwaves these days. His track ‘People’ can be described as the perfect crowd swayer anthem. In it, the former Groovy Soca Monarch thanks his fans for their undying support. Meanwhile, other entertainers on the cast like Ricardo Drue and Nadia Batson have also provided some pretty good momentum heading into the Carnival 2016 season. Bunji Garlin and Fay-Ann Lyons are a always a treat, and annually, they prove to be a favourite among the Ladies Night Out crowd.

Thousands are expected to flood the gates at the Hasley Crawford Stadium and with tickets already on sale at popular ticket retailers, Glasgow and his team will more than likely boast of record numbers in 2016. Tickets for the event are available for online purchase at www.ticketfederation.com.
