He’s been relatively quiet- well that’s since the big break up with the Millionaire Family. That’s not to say however that Orlando Octave hasn’t been doing what he has to behind the scenes musically, to earn himself a space in the international spotlight. Recently, the Trinidad artiste who started off in the Calypso arena, informed ETCETERABUZZ.COM of some pretty good moves he’s been making in his career- one of which is a taping for an upcoming episode of BET’s 106th and Park.

Octave told ETCETERABUZZ.COM that he appeared on 106th and Park on Tuesday for a taped show.

On Tuesday, Octave made an appearance on the set of BETs 106th and Park where he told us he was making the necessary connections to possibly facilitate the release of a new single and video on the show, which is hosted by US rapper, Bow Wow. The weekend prior to that however was an exciting one for the singer who tantalised many here at home in T&T some years ago with his infamous single, ‘Darkie.’ He told EBUZZ that he performed alongside the likes of Destra, Blaxx, Kerwin Du Bois and Benjai at The Resort Casino. This week Orlando also shared the studio with St. Vincent’s Problem Child in what he called a major collaboration for a carnival soca single he’s sure will take the country my storm.

Focused and seemingly dedicated to his music, the young Rio Claro native shows no sign of giving up. Recently, he released a new video for a single called Falling – a track produced by 12to12 Productions. Just prior to that, Octave teamed up with PengCo Music, on a single called, ‘Twerk It’ on Riddim 868. That riddim also features Swappi with his single, ‘Protect Me’.

Orlando recently released a new single called 'Fallin'. The track is coupled with a fresh, new video.

In the days and weeks ahead, Octave told us that his fans and supporters at home in T&T can look out for features in upcoming editions of Source Magazine and XXL Magazine, a pretty good look for him, no doubt. We’re certainly wishing Octave the very best as he continues to challenge himself musically, making those necessary moves to make it to the top of the game.
