He may never have won the crown but by all standards, the ground may be speaking, echoing sentiments that Farmer Nappy- Machel Montano’s right hand man on stage, may very well be the Groovy soca leader. Recently, the artiste told another media outlet that he’s decided to market his music to a more mature audience but surely, while this may be the Siparia native’s intention, seems like the youths aren’t kicking a fit about anything he’s offering.

Nappy recently released his 2015 Soca track, “Loosen De Chain” and so far, so good! Farmer’s never been one to disappoint. He’s been consistent over the years, and this particular song is definitely one that cements his name among the great music makers of Trinidad and Tobago.

A relatable, down home personality adds to his appeal and over the years that’s proven to be an immediate attraction so when he hits the stage, his ability to make audiences sway, put their hands in the air and sing along, is often pretty easy.

Once again, Nappy teamed up with De Red Boyz out of Barbados but the track was written by Nadia Batson- known for her amazing writing ability. In the end, the result is on point- just what soca lovers need to fuel the excitement as the season of revelry creeps closer.
