Archived: Trinidad and Tobago Takes SnapChat By Storm

EBUZZTTOne day after the beautiful island of Barbados was featured by the social snapping site, SnapChat, Trinidad and Tobago became the second Caribbean destination to have its people provide the world with snapshots of what lies on the island that’s most popularly known for Carnival- the greatest show on Earth.
Today, snappers showed off Trini cuisine, spaces and places, with students of Holy Name Convent delivering a taste of the Trini vibe. There was even a school steel pan orchestra performing for the world of snappers out there and Bunji Garlin seemed set to do his bit to promote the country that he’s proudly represented from pillar to post on the international circuit.
Trinidad and Tobago’s Tourism Minister, Shamfa Cudjoe also got in on the action, snapping a video that extended an invitation to the world to join the people of the Caribbean nation that she coined, terrific Trinidad and tranquil Tobago.
Back in September, Jamaica was featured as SnapChat’s “Live Story of the Day”, broadcasting pictures and videos from the Caribbean island to their more than 200 million users.
