Ricardo Drue Admits, He And Patrice are “Dating.”

It’s all out in the open now, this despite all efforts by Patrice Roberts and her daughter’s father, Ricardo Drue, to maintain some semblance of privacy. This morning, during an interview on BoomChampions 94.1FM in Trinidad, Ricardo told the audience that they are in fact dating.

The open revelation comes on the heels of the release of their new single, “Toxic Love,” which has been making steady strides on the iTunes reggae chart. Speaking with hosts of the Morning Pump, Rome, D Ultimate DJ Shane and Jade, Ricardo dismissed rumors that he was ever married, saying that this rumor had been whirling around incessantly, with even his step mother questioning him recently.

Patrice and Ricardo share a beautiful daughter, Lilly. Drue meanwhile, has four sons from his previous relationship. This morning, Patrice said the involvement of fans in their relationship has been minimal, crediting their effective privacy efforts over time.

“Over the last year we just decided to refine our relationship and the direction in which we wanted to go and we’ve just decided to make things official and that’s what it is,” said Ricardo.
