For as much time as she has spent in the limelight, Dancing Jade now finds balance in yoga and meditation.

“I think it’s really important to do some form of exercise, whether it’s light jogging, swimming, yoga- whatever, some form of exercise is important for general good health,” she told us. Campbell is an avid reader. Together with an appreciation for physical, mental and spiritual health, the entertainer who’s in her thirties, postures herself for continued happiness in her years ahead, by balancing her life. Jade shared a few tips with us. She made it abundantly clear that she is no teacher and continues to be a student of life. Her Instagram is a testament of her commitment to personal growth but Jade says one thing she faces challenges with is eating healthy. “I love sweet and salt so it is kind of hard. It is important to have balanced meals and add green leafy veges and protein and carbs,” she said, but living up to it, might be another story.

The former HD dancer shared a few of her personal tips- things she has confronted on her journey to mental, physical and spiritual growth.

  1. Don’t push your body over the limit. We are living in a time now with social media where you might see somebody doing something and you might want to reach there immediately, but you have to know that everybody struggles and everybody’s timing for certain things is different. Just concentrate on your struggle.
  2.  Stretching before and after your exercise routine is very important.
  3. Breathe through exercises. In Yoga they teach you that. When you enter positions its important to breathe.
  4. I believe in proper body structure and positions and I although I do my home workouts now, I’ve been in gyms for a while. I still google things that I don’t know. It is important to have proper posture.
  5. I found out about meditation after I went through a dip in my life. It helps me. It has helped me to find balance in my life. It has helped me to understand that everything is temporary. It’s hard to quiet your mind though. The longest I’ve been able to meditate for, so far, is 8 minutes.
  6. All those things won’t work without prayer.
