Just about two weeks after Benjai pretty much made a spectacle of himself at the Arima Velodrome where he appeared before thousands wearing just his underwear and socks, the artiste is saying that he’s embracing the love he’s been receiving from the ladies, since they spotted him in all his glory on stage. The entertainer who failed to qualify for the finals of the International Soca Monarch competition, has been a hot topic since he dangled his jewels for the world to see, in Arima.

Benjai stripped down to his underwear the semi finals of the Soca Monarch competition.

Via media release, Benjai said while the sex symbol title he’s been given by women across the country was not intended when he performed on semi finals night, he isn’t mad. “If the ladies like my swank then I will give it to them,” he said. The video of his live performance at the event has amassed some 90,000 views on YouTube and upon news that he did not make the cut for the finals, there seemed to have been quite a bit of chatter, especially among the female sex, that this in itself was a disappointment. Benjai’s stage show was meted out to his single, ‘Come Out To Play’, and that he certainly did.

Last year Benjai made it to the finals of the competition and secured the 3rd place position in the Power category.

In case you haven’t seen it yet, take a look at Benjai live at the Arima Velodrome on February 9th, 2014.
