You’ll Never Guess What Patsy Pulled Off! She’s Definitely A Big Girl Now!

From Nadia Batson to Blaxx, Kernal Roberts and Zan, Soca hottie, Patrice Roberts entertained fans and friends on Sunday evening on board the less heard of Ocean Pelican in what was her first official birthday bash. The Soca mom who turned 31 on April 11th had explained that over the years, she’d made performing her first priority and had never before, been able to celebrate as she would have a chance to on this special sailing.

Though delayed due to traffic en route to the Anchorage, Chaguaramas dock, the ride turned out to be the perfect end to the weekend for most who’d attended. Radio personalities like Jahmoun Mendoza, Dancing Jade, DJ Karey, Hollywood Sachy, DJ Keron and Beats By Robin of Boomchampions 94.1FM as well as Kimberly and Trevlyn of 96.1WEFM, were all a part of the fun. Also on board were Kernal Roberts, Dev, Blaxx, Zan, Nadia Batson and Ghetto Flex- each delivering their musical renditions as the boat sailed to shore. Roberts partied the night away before taking the microphone to sing her hits, “Always Be” with Zan, among others. She had a few choice words for her detractors, telling those who’d had the slightest thought that she would not have succeeded beyond her departure from Machel Montano’s HD band that she had proven them wrong.

Roberts’ ride was by all accounts- pretty awesome. The DJs and personalities delivered well- giving patrons just what was required on a Sunday sailing fit for a Soca celeb. The music of the Caribbean’s favourite entertainers, Machel Montano, Vybz Kartel, Buju Banton, Bob Marley, Popcaan and Alkaline, were in abundance but the balance was perfect- giving every music lover a little of what they wanted to hear at some point during the ride.

Now, with fans given a tease of what’s to come from her camp as she develops in her career, Patrice Roberts must show the world that she’s more than just a big girl now, but rather, she’s a true professional in everything she does. We look forward to what’s to come from the new Soca mom.
