While on Saturday night Legacy Carnival Mas band may have shown off just what skinny girls may look like on the road come Carnival Tuesday in Trinidad, Soca artiste and all female soca band leader, Nadia Batson has shown, in her first ever online carnival mas launch, how thick chicks can run the road when Carnival Monday rears its head.
Confused? Don’t be. Both Legacy Carnival and Nadia Batson have delivered separately, Batson having unleashed her “HIMAYA” Monday Mas wear, online on Monday, September 5th at 8pm. Nadia told EBUZZTT that the 5 design options all cater to women who want to strike a balance between sexy and classy on the road. She was keen to note that the options all cater to a wider range of body types, allowing for everyone to feel good in the skin they’re in.
Batson says “HIMAYA” translates to “The Empire” and while the idea came to her initially, she teamed up with mas designer David Dewer to effectively deliver what can only be described as five awesomely engaging carnival pieces. Swearing to the line’s quality, Batson noted that Monday masqueraders will have nothing to worry about when they step into their HIMAYA brand of Monday mas.
Now, set and ready for those orders, Batson and her team are inviting Monday wear enthusiasts to take the plunge and rock the HIMAYA look. For more info, prospective customers can email: email@example.com or check out himaya_by_nadiabatson on Instagram. The outfit also has a Facebook page, Himayabynadiabatson, where enquiries can be expressed.
The journey to Carnival 2017 is certainly beginning to look hot- don’t you think? Ready to play mas? We sure are!
