For the past 35 years, Machel Jesus Montano has, without a doubt, arduously worked to claim and maintain his global positioning as the greatest Soca artiste that lives. His music is loved world over and his stage shows are on par with some of the world’s greatest entertainers.

Montano began his career at the age of nine with the forever famous, “Too Young To Soca”. His talent and drive eventually saw him appear on the mainstream television show, Star Search in 1986. From then to now, the superstar Caribbean entertainer has appeared on stages around the world, including most recently, OVO Fest in Toronto, Canada- an event hosted by International Superstar, Drake.

His music speaks volumes and is easily embraced by global music engagers. Among the many acts that have collaborated with Montano are, Wyclef Jean, Doug E Fresh, Beenie Man, Buju Banton, Vybz Kartel and back in home territory, Calypso Rose, David Rudder and The Mighty Sparrow.

Machel Montano shows no sign of stopping. With numerous accolades to his name, the entertainer is bent on ensuring that Soca music is understood, accepted and embraced by global audiences.
