She’s no little girl anymore. In fact she’s all grown up, married and making some pretty blunt decisions when it comes to her life. Shivonne Church- the young entertainer and culture lover of Trinidad and Tobago who’s best known as Bitts, has been laying claim to her lifestyle in recent weeks- having chopped off her hair, dyed it purple before switching up the color on us, to a spicy blonde shade and of course, releasing new music. Now… that’s some DAMN STRONG star power!
Bitts recently spoke with 96.1WEFM’s Kimberly, revealing that she’s bent on doing her – that is, living her life to suit her happiness and no one else’s. Admitting that her fans’ feelings are important to her, the young singer who’s probably best known for her long time hit, ‘Bump’, said she’s also a believer in taking risks when she has to. Bitts spoke of her partnership with designer, Afiya of Loud by Afiya, on the beautiful costume, “Negazi Rebels,” which will form part of Paparazzi’s 2018 Carnival presentation, “Nomadik Nation’. She said the subject of whether they could stand side by side with top mas designers, did in fact come up, but she told her designer partner, ‘girl, let’s just do it!”.
“This year for me, is just about doing me and expressing myself. I will listen to my fans because they have been supporting me from day one, but I also want them to accept what they see.” – BITTS.
Church has also unleashed a new track called, “Unfair Games.” Take a moment to listen to it and let us know what you think in the comments section below.
